This is personal so feel free not to answer if you don't want, but... They have done a biopsy or blood test and shown no villi flattening after eating spelt? Or it just doesn't make you sick? I have never heard of this and am curious. Thanks!

I will gladly move the Spelt bread down the page, but the fact is that I am Celiac, and I am one who CAN eat spelt. I prefer to leave the disclaimer and leave the product on the page.

I will definitely check out your lead on the tamales. I have not had them, but I do love a good tamale. Thanks for the lead.

Though I like your new gluten-free products page and I appreciate the disclaimer next to the spelt bread, I think it's pretty misleading and actually potentially dangerous to have a spelt-containing item under the bold heading "Favorite Gluten-Free Products." Spelt has plenty of gluten, enough to destroy the intestinal villi of anyone with celiac disease. I'd hate to see newly diagnosed celiacs find your page and skim it, thinking "Oh, I can eat that!" when in fact it's every bit as dangerous for them as wheat. Would you consider either removing the spelt bread from the list or changing the title of the page for accuracy's sake?

On another note, I look forward to seeing the products you put up on that page, especially local ones. Have you had the tamales they sell at the Grand Lake Farmer's Market in Oakland? I am blanking on the name but they say "Gluten-Free" on the label and they are so darn tasty!
