Since 1988 Kabul has been serving up Afghan food the South Bay masses. I discovered the place in ‘98 when a colleague took me there for lunch. When she said I should order the sauteed pumpkin, I thought she was crazy. Well, needless to say, I’ve been going back ever since.

This place is 5 stars for a fantastic wine country lunch. Over a weekend in Healdsburg we had lunch here twice and were able to try all 4 of the ceviches. Very, very yummy. For larger plates, I highly recommend the almond crusted salmon in lemon butter sauce.
